Coming up @ St. Will

VIP Lunch with Ms. Shaw

Each class had a VIP guest invited to lunch with the Principal on December 8th.  Congratulations to these VIP guests who are identified for their positive contributions to our school and their class learning environment!  We’re proud of you every day.  Thank you for celebrating with a dance along the route, pizza, a keepsake, and your brightest smiles!

Thank You Bennett Memorial Fund!!!

Thank you, Randi Bennett for graciously donating funds to our physical education program.  With these funds we were able to purchase pinnies, volleyballs, skipping ropes, a pump, scoreboard and a few other pieces of equipment. Thanks again to the Bennett Memorial Fund, we have some very happy students.

Grade 6 Bake Sale makes parent-teacher interviews oh so sweet!

Thanks to our grade 6 parents and students for a bake sale during our parent-teacher interview evening on November 27th.  Not only did they make and donate all the items, they also worked for the entire time, all to raise money for their grade 6 graduation and special activities.  I’m sure everyone can confirm a sweet treat was a great addition to the evening.

Parents Attend Christmas Around the World

Ms. Irving and Ms. William’s classes welcomed parents to explore 3C & 4C’s Christmas Around the World and Miniature Rooms projects! Every student picked a country and designed a room based on their country with their writing piece! Parents and families came to see all the miniature rooms and learn about Christmas all around the world! Amazing job to both classes who worked hard on their rooms!

Gearing up for the Holidays!

From breakfasts to gift exchanges, and much more!

Once again our St. Will PPO shines bright!

The entrance and office decorations were amazing!  The auction and raffle were a major success, with special thanks to Jen Largan.  The PPO also sponsored both the VIP lunch and story time with Ms. Shaw.  Of course, just in time for the holiday break, students had so much fun at our PPO’s holiday carnival and bazaar.  On top of all that, our PPO arranged a thank you with Force Nutrition drinks for staff following our sheltered in place situation.  The appreciation goes both ways.

Kindness is the Best Christmas Gift

Our 3C & 4C classes participated in the Montérégie ShoeBox Project this year. They made 10 shoeboxes for women’s shelters in the area. Thank you to everyone who donated. Well done 3C & 4C!

St. Will Hosts Volleyball Tournament for all of NFSB!!!

St. Will had 4 volleyball teams from grades 5 and 6 attend the annual NFSB mini- volleyball tournament held last Friday, December 5t 2025. They had the opportunity to compete against schools from throughout NFSB.  Our students demonstrated what it takes to be successful: commitment and teamwork . We are very proud of their efforts and sportsmanship.

An extra thank you must go out to our amazing Phys. Ed. teachers, Marie-Line Cote-Ouellet, Jennifer Lauder, and Lorraine Collin.  The extra time and effort they put into preparing our teams is priceless, not to mention that without their organization this tourament would not have been possible. Thank you!

Successful Lockdown Drill

On December 10th St. Will held a lockdown drill to practice what to do in case of an emergency.  Although we wish it were not necessary, we understand the importance of planning ahead and running through the process with students, similar to our fire drills.  Parents were sent a letter ahead of time with the date, and could help prepare and reassure their children.  Staff prepared their students for what to expect.  We’re happy to say it was a success, our students were quick to respond and followed directions perfectly.  Thank you everyone!
