Thanks to our PPO, Trunk or Treat was a hit! Students had a blast and we appreciate the prizes donated by PPO and Kidz R Us, and we were able to include a Bagpiper in our Remembrance Day Ceremony. The Craft Fair on November 22 was an overwhelming success thanks to Valerie Samson and our parent volunteers.
To all the members – your contributions are certainly noticed and appreciated!
On November 6, we honoured our veterans at our annual Remembrance Day ceremony. The choir performed, a poem was read, and students and community members presented the commemorative wreaths. Great job to all those who participated and helped organize this event!
Ms. Robyn Irving’s Grade 3 and Grade 4 classes received a certificate for their participation in Take Me Outside Week, along with a HUGE thank you for sharing their Living Land Acknowledgements. Students worked all week on developing beautiful Land Acknowledgements in their two classes.

Our Grade 6 students completed a month-long project on famous Canadian Indigenous people. Students had to research and create a biography. Alex Rice was one of the people chosen, her children were and still are St. Will students! Some others our students chose to research:
Grades 3C & 4C learned how to make traditional cornbread! They enjoyed making and tasting it.
Some of our Cycle Three students celebrated World Kindness Day (November 13) in a fun and meaningful way!
Students decorated Starbucks coffee sleeves with uplifting, positive messages in English and French to help spread kindness throughout our community. These special sleeves were given out to Chateauguay Starbucks customers on November 24.
Cycle three students visited Café Panini and were able to practice their French in the community. Students enjoyed a little snack and were warmly welcomed by the staff there
